This 1972 Omega Constellation Chronometer Ref. 198.0027 reflects an important era of early electronic Swiss watchmaking. It is powered by the Omega Caliber 1250 tuning fork movement operating at 300Hz, known for its smooth electronic sweep and technical precision.

The gold-plated case measures approximately 37 mm in diameter and shows strong, visible signs of wear, including scratches and usage marks. The case back has noticeable scratches. The crystal is clearly scratched but free from cracks or chips. The dial is clean, without damage or visible patina.

The movement runs properly and without issues. In November 2025, the tuning fork, pawls, and index wheel were professionally replaced to maintain reliable functionality. The watch is fitted with a non-original bracelet and no longer retains its original Omega strap.
