Vintage 2000s Western Belt (Y2K), Distressed Leather, Rhinestones, and Decorative Studs

Purchased by my mother in a historic boutique in our town, this belt is emblematic of early 2000s fashion, when miniskirts and low-rise pants were paired with wide, distinctive belts.

100% leather (judging by the color on the back, it's cowhide), dark brown.

It's adorned with a profusion of appliqués and decorations evoking cowboy style and instantly transporting us to a Western setting: rhinestones and faux brass coins on the front, and distressed brass decorative studs on the back.

The buckle is embellished with raised rhinestones; the tongue is also noteworthy.

⌛ In excellent condition, the distressed leather and slight discoloration on the back are part of its charm. However, I note a few slightly detached rhinestones and a small tear on the edge of the leather. That said, the belt is perfectly wearable, and its imperfections give it a vintage and authentic charm.

📐 The belt is labeled size 90, but its total length is 94 cm. The belt is 4.9 cm wide, and the buckle is 8 cm wide.

With its holes and buckle, it's primarily designed as a belt for skirt and trouser belt loops, but it also looks fantastic draped over the hips on a long dress, in a 70s style. 💃🏻

Cintura Western Vintage anni 2000 (Y2K), Pelle Invecchiata, Strass e Borchie Decorative

Acquistata da mia madre in una boutique storica della nostra città, questa cintura è emblematica della moda dei primi anni 2000, quando minigonne e pantaloni a vita bassa venivano abbinati a cinture ampie e distintive.

100% pelle (a giudicare dal colore sul retro, è vacchetta), marrone scuro.

È decorata con una profusione di applicazioni e decorazioni che evocano lo stile cowboy e ci trasportano immediatamente in un'ambientazione Western: strass e monete in finto ottone sul davanti e borchie decorative in ottone anticato sul retro.

La fibbia è impreziosita da strass in rilievo; anche la linguetta è degna di nota.

⌛ In ottime condizioni, la pelle invecchiata e la leggera scoloritura sul retro sono parte del suo fascino. Tuttavia, noto qualche strass leggermente staccato e un piccolo strappo sul bordo della pelle. Detto questo, la cintura è perfettamente indossabile e le sue imperfezioni le conferiscono un fascino vintage e autentico.

📐 La cintura riporta la taglia 90, ma la sua lunghezza totale è di 94 cm. La cintura è larga 4,9 cm e la fibbia è larga 8 cm.

Con i suoi fori e la fibbia, è pensata principalmente come cintura per i passanti di gonne e pantaloni, ma sta benissimo anche drappeggiata sui fianchi su un abito lungo, in stile anni '70. 💃🏻
