An extraordinary and highly collectible runway piece from Chanel Fall/Winter 2010, the iconic “Trek Pack” Roll Backpack represents one of the most innovative modular bag designs ever produced by the house. This striking piece debuted on the runway during the Karl Lagerfeld era and was also featured on model Karlie Kloss in Vogue US in 2010, further cementing its place as a memorable and collectible Chanel design from that season.
Crafted in richly textured black tweed woven with red, white, and blue plaid threads, the bag is trimmed in supple black leather and accented with antiqued ruthenium hardware, giving the piece a refined yet adventurous aesthetic inspired by alpine expedition gear. The ingenious roll-top backpack construction unrolls to reveal two detachable bags snapped securely into place: a classic quilted leather flap bag with CC turn-lock closure and a rounded barrel bag with zip closure, allowing the piece to transform from a backpack into two standalone Chanel bags.
