Beautiful and rare vintage Christian Dior tapestry "Doctor Bag" (travel satchel) from the exclusive Christian Dior Boutique line.
​This stunning piece is crafted from a high-quality, intricately woven jacquard tapestry/kilim fabric featuring a gorgeous oriental/paisley motif. It is beautifully trimmed with rich brown leather, sturdy rolled leather handles, and classic brass hardware.
​This model is a true collector's item from the 1970s/1980s, combining timeless vintage elegance with practical luxury. It comes complete with its original leather luggage tag and matching keys for the push-lock mechanism.

​Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition

​Exterior: The tapestry fabric (which usually wear out first) is in perfect, pristine condition with no frays, tears, or stains. Leather is also in very nice vintage condition. Please see photos for the details.

​Interior: The leather lining is well-preserved. There are only some small spots on the interior leather trim, which are completely invisible when wearing the bag.

​Hardware: The brass hardware is fully functional but shows some light, normal vintage patination/tarnishing consistent with its age, adding to its authentic vintage character.

​Stamps: The gold "Christian Dior Boutique" logo on the luggage tag is sharp, and the interior gold stamp ("Made in Italy for Christian Dior") is also sharp, proving its authenticity.
