Keta Gutmane's Spring/Summer 2016 collection offers a democratic, relaxed silhouette. Each piece of clothing can exist on its own or in combination with others, forming subtly connected layers and contrasting surfaces - long overcoats are combined with poplin shirts, fitted skinny trousers are hidden under confident wool blazers, graphic trench coats are juxtaposed with cupro skirts and linen waistcoats.
The collection is inspired by the visual observations of director Wim Wenders, as well as the designer's reflections on what it means to watch others - a silent dialogue between outsiders and onlookers.

Keta works only with black and white, redirecting all attention to construction, tactility and texture. The plaid patterns are a highlight of this collection, adding business-like style to oversized trousers, blazers and coats. The collection is designed for self-confident women, free from social inhibitions. Like armour, this clothing protects its rebellious women from judgement.
