A well-constructed black mini dress from I.N. San Francisco, a US contemporary label that produced some of the most wearable party pieces of the Y2K era. The silhouette is fitted and structured, with subtle vertical seaming through the bodice and a clean square neckline that gives it a slightly architectural quality for a junior cocktail dress. The straps are the real detail here: black satin cord threaded through faceted jet and hematite-toned beads, attached to the body with small silver D-rings, a construction that reads as both delicate and intentional. The fabric is a matte black woven with a touch of stretch, holding its shape well. Condition is very good, with minor light wear consistent with age; size US 6, which translates to approximately an IT 38 or a contemporary XS–S.
