MAJOR: THE PRADA TROMPE L'OEIL DRESS

This is a dress that's so iconic and so flattering, that VOGUE put it Scarlett Johansson for their May cover... 8 years after it walked the runway! It's been worn in public by Gwyneth Paltrow, Ellen Pompeo, Queen Mary of Denmark, and Kylie Minogue. This dress was also featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Exhibit "Impossible Conversations: Schiaparelli and Prada."

This dress is made of the most sensual silk that features a trompe l'œil print of draped silk in a Grecian style. It has the effect of intricate pleating, draping, and motion... all while remaining completely flat. The print features "Prada" quietly throughout.

There is light pleating at the shoulder and at the natural waist. The dress features raw hems throughout and a deep v-neckline. There's a concealed zipper on the side.

CONDITION
Overall great condition for the age. There is wear that's consistent with the age of the garment. There are a few light snags throughout (pictured). The bottom hemline has a few light marks / stains that should be easily treated by a visit to an expert dry cleaner.

C'est une robe si emblématique et si flatteuse que VOGUE l'a mise en couverture de son numéro de mai par Scarlett Johansson... 8 ans après avoir défilé sur le podium ! Elle a été portée en public par Gwyneth Paltrow, Ellen Pompeo, la reine Mary du Danemark et Kylie Minogue. Cette robe a également été présentée dans l'exposition du Costume Institute du Metropolitan Museum of Art intitulée « Impossible Conversations : Schiaparelli and Prada ».

Cette robe est confectionnée dans la soie la plus sensuelle qui présente un imprimé drapé en trompe-l'œil de soie dans un style grec. Il a l'effet d'un plissage complexe, d'un drapé et d'un mouvement... tout en restant complètement plat. L'imprimé présente "Prada" discrètement partout.

Il y a un léger plissage à l'épaule et à la taille naturelle. La robe présente des ourlets bruts partout et un décolleté en V profond. Il y a une fermeture éclair dissimulée sur le côté.

ÉTAT
Très bon état général pour l'âge. Il y a une usure qui correspond à l'âge du vêtement. Il y a quelques légers accrocs partout (photo). L'ourlet du bas présente quelques légères marques/taches qui devraient être facilement traitées par une visite chez un professionnel du nettoyage à sec.
