INSTANTE by VERSACE 1990s Burgundy Knit Top & Mini Skirt Set.
"Instante" was a luxury diffusion line created by Giannni Versace in the early 1990s and produced until the late 1990s with many pieces now considered vintage collectors' pieces. This two-piece set - in a burgundy or maroon color - comprises a knit top and matching mini skirt. The top is a pullover design with a scoop neck and long sleeves. It's made in alternating rows of semi-sheer knit and opaque tinsel that sparkles in the light. The neck, cuffs, and waistband are finished with ribbed knit in a matching color. The top of the matching mini skirt is smooth ribbed knit that is covered by the top; the visible bottom of the skirt matches the stripes in the top. The skirt has an elastic waist and is full lined. The fabrics are 50% viscose and 50% nylon. Labeled Italian size 40, which for a vintage set would convert to US size 2-4; the skirt runs slightly smaller than the top. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size and compare with similar garments that fit you. Because of the lining, the skirt is not as stretchy as the top.
