Unique, exclusive Burberry gabardine trench coat in an exclusive, not very common cobalt blue or steel blue colour; with a discreet and elegant shine provided by the silk (66% of the material).
Characteristics:
*Double-breasted, long-line trench silhouette in subtle pinstripe or ribbed fabric (not the mainstream classic Burberry gabardines);
*Large lapels, patch pockets — late 2000s/early 2010s styling.

This unique Burberry London diffusion line gabardine, from around 2008–2013, sold in the Spanish market, is a one-season fashion piece rather than a timeless Heritage classic (like those with city names like “Waterloo”, “Chelsea”, etc.). That actually makes it RARER in many ways — also, as it contains silk which is not commonly found in other Burberry gabardines or trench coats—you won’t see many others like it.

Please note: like all pre-loved vintage pieces, it has some small details which have been considered to set the price you are now looking at: it has a small spot (ca. 1 cm) on the mid-back (due to unwanted rubbing from the cross-bags I like to wear) and another very small one (ca. 0.5cm) on the upper right shoulder that makes the fabric a bit lighter than the rest of the garment; when worn, they are almost imperceptible as they are on the back. It also has two pulled thread marks on the lower back, not noticeable when wearing it. One more pulled thread on the front.
The waist and wrist belts were lost in my last move🥺. This fact is also considered to your advantage to lower the price, of course.
Despite this, the gabardine remains truly beautiful, sophisticated and unique!
I also modified the position of the buttons myself to make it smaller, as it is a size L, so you can move them back to their original position or leave them as they are for a loose, comfortable size S or M☺️.
