This striking vintage necklace from Christian Dior, crafted by the esteemed Henkel & Grosse of Germany, features 10 fluid strands of twisted rope links in alternating gold and silver plate, creating a dynamic, dimensional statement. The contrasting metallic tones add versatility, allowing it to complement both gold and silver accessories. The multi-strand design sits beautifully at the collarbone, offering a bold yet elegant vintage look emblematic of Dior’s refined glamour in the late 20th century. The shortest top strand is 17.5" long and the longest bottom strand is 22" long. The top of the clasp has a rope texture. The back of the box for the push pin clasp is stamped 19, Chr. Dior, Copyright mark, 67 and Germany. 19 and 67 denote the year. There is light wear to the gold plate on the clasp.
