Extraordinary vintage brooch signed Trifari, an iconic American house of costume jewelry, most likely dating from the second half of the 1960s.
The design represents a large naturalistic leaf with elegant and modern lines, made of gilded metal (Trifari's proprietary alloy 'Trifanium') with a refined satin finish on the back and shiny outlines on the front.
The surface is embellished with a bright, intense, uniform, and luminous blue enamel, which creates a sophisticated contrast with the raised golden veins, achieved through high-quality three-dimensional molding.
