The greatest actresses of the time were crazy about Harel shoes, from Catherine Deneuve to Jeanne Moreau.

The family business, founded in 1917, is renowned for its fine luxury women's pumps in ostrich, iguana and snakeskin, made by workers with unparalleled expertise. The finishing touches are done by hand, on the site on Boulevard Saint-Germain in PARIS. Becoming Harel fils et compagnie in 1966 under the leadership of Alain Harel, the company exports its creations throughout the world. In the following years, several of the brand's boutiques opened in Paris (avenue George-V in 1972 then avenue MONTAIGNE in 1989), Lyon, Madrid and in Japan (in Tokyo and Osaka in 1990).
